Our Swim Groups
Mini Ripples
These swimmers tend to be young or relatively new to swimming. They must, however, be able to complete 25 m of swimming unassisted. They may know components of strokes, but typically not the full stroke.
Waves
These swimmers have a good base of technique for all four strokes. They have good physical strength and endurance in order to complete at least 200 m at a time.
Ripples
These swimmers must be able to complete 100m unassisted. They have some knowledge of all the strokes, and are typically working on graduating from the participation time standard.
Tsunamis
These swimmers have good technique in all four strokes. They have excellent physical endurance and strength, and they present mature peronal qualities, acting as the an example to younger swimmers.
Swim groups are typically based on a swimmers ability, rather than their age. Our groups are set up so that swimmers can learn stroke technique and skills at their appropriate level. While your swimmer may be with swimmers who are older or younger than them, know and trust that our coaches have made the best decision for them and their learning.
